Spent some time visiting my studio in Zhuhai, China, wrapping up some business and using the opportunity to do a bit of street photography. After the work was done, I wandered through the city with my camera and was struck by the changes—many small and medium-sized shops have shut down, reflecting the tough times for local SMEs. Yet amidst the closures, the streets are more alive than ever with people selling everything from produce to daily essentials. It’s a raw, resilient side of Zhuhai—full of visual stories, survival, and adaptability, perfect for capturing honest, unscripted moments through the lens.
