For the past 20 years, many people in Hong Kong focused heavily on real estate flipping, treating property as the primary path to wealth. But with the shifting economy and tech investment bubbles, some have found themselves left with little to show. During my street photography walk on May 12, 2025, I saw traces of this shift—closed shops, quiet streets, and faces that reflect the uncertainty of a city once built on property dreams.
